All Africa Under 15 Championships
The 2017 All Africa Under 15 Championships took place from first to tenth of August in Rose Hill Mauritius.
Emuddu Expedito won Gold in Boys singles of the Individual Events and he paired with Arshart Mohammed and they won Gold in the doubles.

Reigning World Champions in Uganda
The 1st Uganda International Para-Badminton Championships will start on Thursday, 27/04/2017, with the Opening Ceremony at 9:00 am at Sharing Youth Center, Nsambya, Kampala. UBA Is pleased to host 35 players from five countries, among them the reigning world champions Anand Kumar Boregowda and Manoj Sarkarthe of India as well as the number 2 of the world ranking list, Bartlomiej Mrosz of Poland.
After having been successfully classified players will compete in different sports classes from Wheel Chair 1 & 2, Standing Lower 3 and 4 to Standing Upper 5. The tournament starts with the single events after the opening cermony with Hon. Speaker Rebecca Kadaga as Guest of Honour.
On the first day there will be 39 matches from 9:30 am until 5 pm.

Uganda to Host First International Para-badminton Championships in Africa
Uganda is chosen by the Badminton World Federation to host the first international para-badminton championships in Africa.
The tournament will take place from 25th to 30th of April 2017 in the MTN Arena, Lugogo Sports Center, Kampala. Matches will start on Thursday, 27th of April.

Number 2 of the World Coming to Uganda
The number 2 of the world in his class will grace the 1st Uganda International Para-Badminton Championships. Polish player Bartlomiej Mrosz will play during our tournament the men's singles in the class SU5 (Standing Upper 5) and most likely with our own Khadija Khamuka of Mbogo High School the Mixed Doubles SL3-SU5.
